Iroquois kid's moccasins, from the 4th quarter of 19th century, classics, as worn in period ceremonial settings in upstate New York or in Western and Native shows of the time across the Nation. Cuffs made of black velvet with red military braid edging and old italian stock white beads outlines. Vamp area ornamented with typical Iroquois raised beadwork, widely used from c.1850 on, Beads sorting and color use making up an outstanding checkerboard pattern/design. No beads missing, soft moccasins soles area show slight signs of wear but in very good conditions. Lenght 5 and 3/4"
