ANTIQUE KESTNER ALL BISQUE # 570 Glass Eyes Jointed GERMAN
6" MIGNONETTE DOLL
A lovely antique, Kestner, all bisque Mignonette Doll that is incised on the back of her head " 570  3 1/2 ".  She is also incised on both arms " 3 1/2 " and on both legs " 3 1/2 ".  She has stationary, blue, glass eyes and a closed mouth.  Her blonde wig looks original and her harms and legs are string jointed.  She was probably restrung because she is poseable.  She wears a newer crocheted dress. This doll measures approximately 6" tall and is in good condition.  She does have flakes on the edge of her right leg (where it meets her torso) and one flake on her left leg (where it meets her torso).  The ends of both thumbs are missing, the end of the middle finger on her right hand is chipped, and a small flake under the tip of her index finger on left hand (all these flaws are hardly noticeable).  Her wig needs to be glued back down.
Despite a few flaws, she displays wonderfully and will make a very nice addition to any collection!  Being offered at a low starting bid and with no reserve.
