    Description

This is a pair of authentic, Blackfeet Indian moccasins that had been used/worn.
Purchased from a collector who dated these from the 1920's-30's, traditionally made with teeth-chewed (softened), smoke tanned, moose hide.
I am not an expert, so please look carefully at photos before purchasing.
    Lovely multi-colored bead patterning.
    PLEASE NOTE:
-- Repair/replacement stitching in black thread was done at some point at the toe of the right moccasin.
-- Both have minor loss of beads in red/white arc pattern.
-- One or two blue beads missing in orange/blue diamond on left moccasin
-- Tie missing on left moccasin
-- Remaining beadwork well intact. And no rips or tears of skin.
These  moccasins are a fine example of traditional clothing in their preparation and design.
A piece of history.  I make every effort in accuracy of description, but PLEASE LOOK CAREFULLY at ALL PHOTOS and contact me if you have any questions or would like more images before making purchase, as no returns.
