26" Armand Marseille Antique Doll - Mold 390n

Up for auction is t
his 26” sweet-face antique doll by Armand Marseille. I’m downsizing my personal collection and wish to find her a new home.
She has a porcelain head with painted feathered brows, painted eyelashes, stationary deep blue glass eyes, and a perfect little open mouth with 4 teeth. She has lightly blushed cheeks and a dimple in her chin. She has her original mohair wig which still has gorgeous wavy curls all around the head. This wig has the mohair extensions they used to add to make the hair longer. The pate is a replacement.
Her ball-jointed composition body is in good condition but shows normal signs of wear and tear and some body paint discoloration common for antique dolls. There is a repair at the right armhole and the sole of the right foot is missing. This does not detract from her presence as these flaws are hidden under the costume. She has all her fingers and toes.
She has a replaced antique style dress and newer home-sewn slip. The cotton panties are old but I'm not sure if they are original to her or not. She has blue slip-on shoes w/pink pom-poms and cotton knit socks which both look like they might be original.
She is marked on the back of her head:

Additionally, I'm not responsible for the poor handling of the package during shipment. I pack very well to insure safe delivery. I charge a small handling fee to help with the cost of shipping materials used when packing antique dolls. If you wish to add insurance, please contact me before making payment so I can add it to the invoice total. Sorry, I do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii, nor do I ship internationally, so no international bidders please.
